The Touch 'n Go is a contactless smartcard, which has a microchip and antenna embedded in it. The card stores electronic Ringgit value for fast and easy cashless payment system. It makes frequent payments for tolls and public transportation fares extremely quick and convenient, yet accurate.

When the Ringgit value in the card gets low with repeated usage, the same Touch 'n Go card can be reloaded at any Touch 'n Go counter. Better still, when you apply an auto reload Touch 'n Go card, the Touch 'n Go cards value will top up automatically when the card balance is low. Great convenience!

Touch 'n Go Electronic Payment System is a fantastic new method for toll and fare payment in Malaysia. A user simply touches his Touch 'n Go card, a smartcard that contains "electronic cash", at designated toll booths, on the busses or at the Light Rail Transit (LRT) station gates and the toll or fare is deducted electronically from the card in an instant.
